    According to either the same report or a follow on commentary (I'll take a look for it), "silo" or niche social sites did well - BBC Communities was up, as were other more interest-related networks.

    I`ve seen some reports that "niche" sites may be growing audiences at a faster rate, but I think the big news recently is that ad-clicks are underwhelming on all social network sites. This was shown by poor numbers from Google`s SN deals. Ad-clicks on more targeted sites might be worth more CPM wise, but I think the jury is still out on this.
