    It's interesting all this prediction stuff Nic - completely agree with things being considered carefully. In fact, I have never seen any downward analyst predictions in my short working career - but maybe that's because I gravitate to high growth markets :-)

    Like with any share - they'll go up and down and no one can really guess it correctly - but believing in the fundamentals and going for it - that's the way to do it (as Punch would say).

    If this was easy, everyone would do it. The problem for entrepreneurs and VC's is that you cannot predict all the variables, thus you have to be willing to take risks to get rewards. Nobody ever made a boat load of money just sitting there (unless there was a dead parent and inheritance involved).

    Predictions and models are a great tool to help you make some of the tough decisions that pop up along the path. But if you live by these spreadsheets you will die by them. The successes I have seen have come from a combo of predicting and a dash of gut feeling with a sprinkling of luck.
